Our Approach
At Bret Harte Elementary, we believe in educating the whole child through engaging, rigorous, and inclusive instruction. Our curriculum is aligned with California State Standards and designed to prepare students for success in middle school, high school, and beyond.

Beyond the Classroom
We partner with families, the PTA, and community organizations to extend learning beyond the school day, including after-school programs, field trips, and family literacy/math nights.
